CREATIVE WORKING MEETING

5. 10. | 14:00 | Teatrium BDNR

A meeting of creative writing lecturers under the auspices of the Theatre Institute.

Creative writing workshops for children and youth between aged 12 to 18 are regularly available in Bratislava, Žilina and Banská Bystrica. They are led by dramaturges in their home theatres – in Bratislava in the Slovak National Theatre Drama Company (Mário Drgoňa), in The City Theatre of Žilina (Daniela Brezániová) and the Puppet Theatre at the Crossroads (Iveta Škripková). Last season, workshops were also available at The Jozef Gregor Tajovský Theatre in Zvolen (Uršula Turčanová).

Creative writing at BDNR, led by the playwright Iveta Škripková, is held under the auspices of the Theatre Institute since 2012. Since then, Dramatically Young – drama competition for teenagers – has been evolving as one-of-the-kind in Slovakia. The project inspires children in their attitude to drama and boosts their interest in theatre.
