A story about the unbreakable will of a ridiculous but courageous hen, that regains her strength after every failure. After the successful staging of The Owl That Was Afraid of the Dark (première: 29 September 2019, directed by Marián Pecko), the dramaturges at the Puppet Theatre at the Crossroads reached again for a book by the British author Jill Tomlinson, which is not quite known in Slovakia. The author presents unconventional and sensitive topics, a mosaic of universal human experiences, written with a focus on the world of children. The lead character, Hilda, never gives up and when she decides to do something, nothing stops her.
